The stress of the holiday season often brings on feelings of sadness and depression for many people.  Grief from missing loved ones and financial worries are just a couple of reasons people experience holiday blues.  All of us are sacrificing a lot for the well-being of others.  We may notice that our traditional way of doing things will look different.  Our meals maybe more distant and our greetings and hugs will tend to look different.  Many will be faced with confusion, isolation, and trying to decipher what they are experiencing.  The truth is depression can show up different in everyone.  The question becomes whether what you are feeling is simply holiday blues or clinical depression?  Whatever you are feeling, just know that there is hope available.
